Anna Shelley offers a line of unique handcrafted jewelry, where each piece celebrates the meeting of chance and intention. Designed and entirely handcrafted in Northern France, these creations carry a distinctive imprint — reflecting artisanal expertise and timeless sensitivity.

Designed as true narrative objects, Anna Shelley’s pieces follow a process that is both intuitive and thoughtful. Organic forms, raw textures, and imperfect details tell a story: one of gesture, material, and moment. Each piece is shaped by hand, with a deep attention to balance, lightness, and emotion.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

In my studio in Lille, I work with 14k gold-filled wire, a durable material that keeps its light over time. I shape each piece by hand, one by one. The Liens and Aeris collections are born from this slow, patient and precise work. I love this material for its durability and for the way it ages gracefully without losing its glow. It comes as a wire, perfect to knot, form, bend, and test until the curve feels right. A piece of jewelry must last: it’s a matter of care and time.

I also work with sterling silver and gold-plated brass, crafted in close collaboration with a family-owned workshop in Northern France. We move forward together, producing in small batches, paying attention to the details that may not always be visible, but always matter.

The freedom to explore, adjust, and begin again when needed guides every piece we create.

CREATIONS.

I never begin with a drawing. Everything starts with a material between my fingers: a wire, bronze off-cuts, a pearl.

The form emerges through movement, in the search for the right balance, the right tension, the perfect comfort. Some pieces are born in a single gesture, others require multiple attempts, corrections, and a quiet form of persistence. I let intuition lead, the freedom to create without constraint, and the subtle desire to leave a small part of myself in every piece.

Each piece is more than an object.

It carries a story: a mastered gesture, attentive care, a simple and confident creativity. A piece of jewelry accompanies a way of being. It can add style, offer a point of reference beneath the fingers, support posture, or fuel the energy of a day. I hope my pieces offer this: a gentle presence, a quiet glow, an object worn as much for its beauty as for the way it makes one feel.
